I began writing as soon as I could create sentences. From “The Great Chocolate Bar Escape,” in elementary school, to selling my own newspaper in middle school, at five cents a copy with the enticing headline: “Ohio State Fat Baby Born!”
I wrote through high school and college, before moving into journalism, getting my start at The Daily Jeffersonian newspaper in Cambridge, Ohio. I’ve written hard news, breaking news, investigative pieces, features, sports, lifestyle, music, and everything in between.
I’ve completed my first novel The Nellie Chronicles: Rise of the Monster Hunter, while attending Ashland University for my Master’s in Fine Arts degree.
Additionally, I write screenplays for my production company, Eleven One Productions, and produce, as well as direct, films. We are currently working on The Third Period, a feature-length character drama set in the world of ice hockey; Nellie, a crime thriller based on my novel, The Nellie Chronicles: Rise of the Monster Hunter; and Revenge, a short thriller. Read more about my films here.
If there’s a great story, I want to write about it.
